A unique film. It's slow, yet carries a certain weight and energy with it that makes it engaging. It's beautifully shot and exquisitely acted. The visuals are powerful and the music is manic and jolting.
Daniel Day Lewis commands the screen with a powerful presence and an spellbinding performance. There isn't too much in the way of plot, but just watching this character on the screen is entertaining enough.
It's a brutal, heavy film, but it is definitely something worth experiencing.
