How can a movie be both sparse & overflowing? With a master's eye & a genius at the helm, that is how. This is gonna be one of those movies broken down & admired for years to come. It's just a simple story of a determined man who uses everything to become an oil tycoon, even placating the local preacher & appeasing the sheep just for the almighty dollar.
Oil vs God...either way, we're fucked.
