Review of There Will Be Blood (2007) by Eric L — 26 Feb 2014
There Will Be Blood is a character-driven movie that is unparalleled by any other movie out there today. Propelled by a spectacular performance by Daniel Day Lewis, this movie offers one of the richest character explorations in all of cinematic history.
Admitting that this isn't a masterpiece, the one problem I had with the movie was that it all rested on Lewis's character and that it lacked plot. Also, I felt like the other characters could have been developed a little more.
I felt like there were some character arcs left unfulfilled.
