Review of There Will Be Blood (2007) by Jose M — 17 Oct 2014
A terrific piece of art about men obsessed with power, There Will Be Blood is a bold, haunting cinematic experience, an arresting motion picture filled with characters walking a dubious morality line, with breathtaking performances from Paul Dano and Daniel Day-Lewis at the center (both of the actors' performances alone would require a longer review).
An odly poetic epic that stays, and whose ambition, masterfully achieved by director and screenwriter Paul Thomas Anderson, clocks on your mind, and clocks, and clocks.
