Review of There Will Be Blood (2007) by Aaron K — 05 Feb 2015

I've lately had an extreme aversion towards 2+ hour movies, but There Will Be Blood kept my attention the entire time. The movie's character list only really includes an excellent 'ye-oldy times Daniel Day-Lewis' character, Paul Dano playing a mysterious minister, this one guy who would be a spoiler, and some kid playing Day-Lewis's kid.

Despite the short character list, and the fact that There Will Be Blood trades in a normal antagonist-based plot line for a more 'a few years in the life of' plot, the film is super interesting.

I mean, the movie has a good child actor. AND PAUL DANO!
