Review of There Will Be Blood (2007) by Mike F — 05 Nov 2012
In my opinion, a film to be seen as one of the greats of all-time. The acting in the film ranges from subtle to completely ferocious. Paul Thomas Anderson has written and directed a gem here. Robert Elswit's cinematography is both contemplative and unnerving, appropriately.
And, of course, Daniel-Day Lewis grabs a hold of the viewer and never lets up. This is a truly exceptional film, worth discussing and thinking about for quite a long time.
