Superb film. Day-Lewis was riveting. Dano, also mesmerising, reminded me of Edward Norton's performance in "Primal Fear." The control, pace and detail, Kubrick would have been surprised at.
Shakespearian in its arc, "Barry Lyndon" very much comes to mind. Great film. Loved it.
