THERE BE DRAGONS is not a film made by Hollywood for the current 14 to 27 year old demographic that has completely ruined going to the theaters. This is a film made outside the traditional Hollywood studio system and THANK GOD for that because without filmmakers like Joffe, all we'd be seeing in theaters is crap like THOR or MACHETE.

THERE BE DRAGONS got me off my butt and back into a theater and I had to make quite a drive to get there but it was worth it. A film about love, redemption, faith, and free will -- THERE BE DRAGONS is easily as good as ANY movie currently playing in the United States and BETTER THAN MOST!
