Review of Then She Found Me (2007) by Kurt F — 17 Dec 2008
I get the impression that if this movie didn't have the cast it had, would be languishing on the film festival circuit. Not that that makes it bad. They shot this in my neighborhood, so I had a special interest. But this wasn't bad. I hadn't seen Helen Hunt in a while, and there was a scene she did when confronting Bette Midler where I was reminded of how much of a talent she is.
The relationships with the men could have been developed a little more. Why did she get married later in life? What made her fall in love with the Matthew Broderick character?
I wouldn't go out of my way to see this, but if you catch it on cable or whatever, it's an enjoyable watch with some talented actors.
