Review of Then She Found Me (2007) by Caroline J — 11 Jan 2009
I liked this movie more than the others I watched recently - not because it is stellar, but because I found myself relating to issues middle aged people grapple with. Hunt plays a school teacher who has her husband walk out on her, her mother die on her, and then comes into contact with her real mother (she was adopted) played by Bette Midler (best performence in the movie).
To top it all off, she falls rapidly in love with a middle aged divorcee (Colin Firth) only to discover that she is pregnant with her husband's baby.
