Review of Thelma & Louise (1991) by Cliff O — 30 May 2009
Not any better now than it was then. Just as ham-handed as it was originally. From the script to the lighting, soundtrack and direction to the acting in the first half (at least), the only thing that saves it is the novelty of the heroines and the iconic status of several of the feminist revenge fantasy scenes.
... Oh, and Brad Pitt.
