With the film not serving as much emotional impact as a film about the Holocaust should it lacks interesting characters and instead of wanting us to care for the people who died in the war they want us to feel bad for the animals which is a huge flaw in the movie as well as it's a flaw that the main character only cares about the animals and not the ones who actually suffer.
