Review of The Zero Theorem (2013) by Steven H — 19 Jul 2014
Gilliam's latest is such a wonderfully layered film. The film is fresh and current while maintaining his signature style's and underlying story concepts. The theme's involved are on the surface initially quirky however reveal to have as much to do with Philip K Dick's ideas about surveillance and big brother.
Zero Theorem almost plays out as a reimagining of his classic Brazil.
