Review of The Zero Theorem (2013) by Roland T — 31 Jul 2014
Gillian's best film since 12 Monkeys is a strangely effecting film - I've little idea what it's all about, but if 'Brazil' was sheer frustration at bureaucracy, this film is anger at the world.
It's visuals are effective, considering the budget, but its a film that is more interesting in its ideas and themes rather than a cohesive story. It's also the closest Gilliam has come to a brazil sequel.
