Lacking the whimsy of a Baron Munchhausen or a Time Bandits, not so sharp as Twelve Monkeys or Brazil, but still a solid outing for Gillaim. A classic Gilliam dystopia decorated in his distinct visual style and populated by quirky characters makes The Zero Theorem worth watching for Gilliam fans.
On the other hand, the surreal elements and weaker story will probably turn off some viewers. I'm a fan, your mileage may vary.
