Review of The Zero Theorem (2013) by Gavin P — 19 Dec 2014
Another trippy effort from Gilliam. He's certainly unique and this time Waltz ("Qohen", or "Cohen" - no "u"!) is pretty much the only character, "crunching data" for a Bi Brother-esque company in a hyper-coloured, but still run-down, future.
It's pretty much a "what's the meaning of life?" film, and it's both answered & not answered - at least, I took from it that "life's what you make it"... Good, but a little silly in parts, and not really as funny as it could've been.
Still, great performances from Waltz, Damon, Thewlis, Thierry & Hedges.
