Review of The Zero Theorem (2013) by Robert D — 12 Jan 2015
Got Gilliam? If you loved the look/feel of "Brazil" and "12 Monkeys," you'll be on board for this weird trip into a horrific-yet-colorful where Q (Christoph Waltz) is a computer genius is assigned the task of proving the futility of life, the Zero Theorem.
Matt Damon has a fun extended cameo as "Management," and Tilda Swinton is a hoot as Q's virtual therapist. The ending isn't very satisfying or I would rate this visually arresting sci-fi freak show even higher.
