Review of The Zero Theorem (2013) by Eric W — 28 Feb 2015
I feel that this film is so unappreciated and its really sad to see even the major critics review this movie and shame it for being what it is honestly how people review this movie and it kinda makes me sick.
I think that most people who watch movies want something they have seen a million times before/something that you can watch without actually thinking about what your watching and most people who watch this movie will say that this is an awful movie.
It really drives me crazy! There are so many levels of unappreciated wonder that most people think are hidden but its actual right in front of your face and most people don't really want to even watch a movie that you need to think this deeply about! If you take some of the equations that the main character Qohen uses in his first entity crunching scene is actually a real quantum mechanics equation that was only discovered a few years ago! and for me to watch that with someone who knows quantum mechanics extremely well was amazing! After that scene had occurred one level of this movie that everyone seems to not realize is that this movie is so far into the future that they use are quantum computers which is basically eventually going to be our not so distant future's version of binary in which the future of data can be in more than one place at one time! Not for like faint of heart and more for the hardcore movie goer I guess, but I really think that this movie is much better than people make it out to be.
