This movie is excellent! the portrayal of Queen Victoria's first years as the Sovereign of Britain is riveting.
Blunt plays the young queen so well and has wonderful chemistry with her male counterpart Prince Albert (Rupert Friend).
A film that draws you in from its very beginnings and relays in a very real way the hardship a young woman faces in trying to find her way, her independance and in learning to trust the right people. Inspiring to watch a young women learn and assume her duties (which are of no small scope) with so much grace and cleverness.
