Terrific film about the rise of Queen Victoria an dher budding romance to the foreign Prince Albert. Great performances by all - especially Emily Blunt and Rupert Friend as Victoria and Albert.
This film was interesting, nice to look at and the sort of historical costume/period drama that draws oodles of award recognition. Very suprised that this film was fairly non-existent during the past Oscar season. Fine supporting work by Paul Bettany, Miranda Richardson, Jim Broadbent and Mark Strong.
