Review of The Young Victoria (2009) by Anna Q — 20 Feb 2013
History-lite for the sophomore high school set, albeit done with almost the best that money can buy. Blunt and Friend do as well as the passable script allows conveying the times and political infighting of court life.
Only Mark Strong impressed me though as daring to press the limitations of the preset direction.
