A fantastic historical biopic about Queen Victoria. The Young Victoria, with it's gorgeous costumes and locations, completely succeeds on a visual level. The acting is spot on. Even the most minor role is masterfully casted.
Interestingly, where the movie finds the most success is in it's central love story, which manages to be swoon worthy, while being delicate and nuanced at the same time. This is the type of movie I could watch over and over again.
