I don't understand why people are slamming this movie. Best movie of the year so far. Young Messiah. Believer or not everyone loves a good Jesus story told well. I am curious to hear what other people thought.

I went in expecting a dud based on these reviews but was totally surprised. A mystical take on what the story of Jesus could have been in a missing stretch of Jesus' adolescent life in the Bible. For 2000 years we have Told the story of Jesus and I never thought to ask what his coming of age was like? Really good writing direction and acting.

It took me on a journey to a supernatural time.
