Review of The Yes Men (2003) by Ben W — 01 Jun 2005
Don't really feel like reviewing these right now....maybe a bit on Sith, simply because...
Revenge of the Sith - Somehow, Lucas has recaptured the magic of the original trilogy and brought it together with the dark side of the force to create his masterpiece. Strong visual effects, strong(er) acting, and strong emotion, this is my favorite of the saga. Lucas shows us in this that he's more than just a big marketing machine and he quickly douses all his doubters in a fierce hosing of light saber battles and Vader. Yoda's battle with the emperor, Palpatine becoming the emperor, Anakin's turn to the darkside, Obi Wan vs. Vader, all the makings of a Star Wars masterpiece. I just love every bit of this movie...well...maybe not "I'm so in love with you," but everything other than that, just wonderful filmmaking.
Oh yeah, Yes Men was pretty good, too.
Just got back from Palindromes as well, and I think I need more time with that one before coming to a rated conclusion...
