Review of The Yellow Handkerchief (2009) by Peter R — 25 Sep 2010
At times there seems to be little happening in this slow, slight but solid indie. But as the back story?s of the characters slowly seep out the interest and suspense gradually build. As with Adventureland, Kristen Stewart proves she can really act but it's Hurt's powerfully restrained performance which carries the film.
The film relies on character development instead of an elaborate plot but this is to it's credit and the result is a pure Indie gem.
