Is there anything Peter Weir can't do? He even got an Oscar for Linda Hunt who is a short white woman playing a half chinese male midget in this film. Different ethnicity and different gender. It was actually a bit distracting knowing he was a she.
Other notes, Mel Gibson looks sooo young and then u realize he was 26 in this and wonder why he seems sooo old. Also, Sigourney Weaver never looked better than in this film.
