O Ano em que Meus Pais Saíram de Férias emociona com muita simplicidade. As crianças são apaixonantes, a retratação da época, perfeita. Um filme que une futebol, judaísmo e política com tanta maturidade, que une grupos de pessoas diferentes com tanto realismo e poesia, sem dúvidas mereceu a indicação a representar o Brasil no Oscar, independente do olhar torto de alguns.
