Review of The Yards (2000) by Eric-Travis S — 29 Aug 2008
Hmmm, a little slow and a little dreary, but some great performances from some great actors not to mention that Charlize is ssssssmokin' hot as always. I give it a thumbs up, but this is by no means the best film of the year.
The Serpico ending definitely could've been spared and I'd have cut the last eight or so minutes of the film entirely, but maybe I just felt slightly tortured by that point already.
