Review of The Wrong Trousers (1993) by Kenneth L — 30 May 2011
This might be the best of the Wallace & Gromit shorts, though they're all amazing. It's charming and extremely funny. The story revolves around Wallace's invention of "technotrousers," which can climb up walls and on ceilings, and Gromit's displacement in the house by a suspicious penguin.
The movie demonstrates that few things are funnier than a malevolent penguin. It all unfolds in its merry way, and the movie culminates in a funny and very inventive action sequence. This short film totally deserved its Oscar.
