Review of The Wrestler (2008) by Robyn M — 02 Aug 2012
Mickey Rouke proves there is comebacks!
The Wrestler is bleak, gritty and riveting it's been sometime that i've come across such a gripping and endearing story that touches you. Of all the Oscar films nominated for 2008 this film stuck like glue. Rachel Evan Woods was marvelous as the estranged daughter and from personal experience I could relate to her fallen relationship to her father who was only good at 1 thing- failing to keep promises.
