I am rating it 5 stars based on the level of emotions it stirred and the often painful but compelling journey you take with this film. Movies are great when they manage to move an audience without the cheap sentimentalism.
Superb acting, photography, music and I absolutely loved its realism. What and actor Mickey Rourke can be. This movie has redeemed him from his down-spiral career. The role of his life without a shadow of a doubt.
