Aronofsky continues to grow as a director, and it's exciting to think of where he's going next. at times, I felt he didn't trust the audience enough to get the depth of his movie and at times explained itself too much.
mickey rourke was perfectly made for this movie in so many ways... is that a compliment to him or not? hard to say.
