Huge Aronofsky fan here. Requiem FAD was an experience, and I will never forget how it affected me and those who were in the theater. No other film I have seen has had such an effect. I will see any film Aronofsky does.
Mickey R. is fantastic in this film. It is one of the most authentic and realistic dramas I have seen in years. The scene where the kid tells Ram about Call of Duty 4 was amazing to me for some reason.
But, this film is more about Mickey R. than about the Ram-his character. This adds to the film yet detracts from it. If you like Aronofsky, see this film. If you like Mickey R. see this film. Very very good, and this made me care a lot more about Mickey's career.
Not great, but worthy.
