Review of The Wrestler (1984) by Ben T — 25 Jun 2014
The wrestler is one of the most well directed and powerful movies I have ever seen. The performance of Mickey Rourke alone is fantastic, he just brings something to the role I can't imagine anyone else do.
This film is one of my personal favourites and I still feel upset that it was snubbed for the oscars. I think this is one of the best movies of the past decade and my favourite movie of 2008 just after the Dark Knight.
