Review of The Wraith (1986) by Phil S — 26 Aug 2009
Needs to be seen to be believed... Killed by a gang of evil street racers, a vengeful spirit appears to take revenge in the form of a sort of robot/spaceman with orthapedic calipers and a shotgun with flashing lights on, or depending on his mood, Charlie Sheen! Then he likes to run them off the road with a spectral black/bronze supercar, that looks suspiciously like a Dodge concept car made of badly fitted fibreglass.
Fun just for the cool car stunts, ridiculous dialogue, terrrrrible acting particularly from the gang... (will the kid from gentle ben ever be taken seriously?) massively cheesey 80's soundtrack, random toplessness.
.... It's the gift that keeps on giving!
