Review of The Wraith (1986) by Dave C — 24 Sep 2007
Charlie Sheen plays Jake, a stranger who arrives in a small town on the same day as another stranger who happens to start killing off members of a car gang of murderers. Surprisingly no-one links the two together.
The film title makes this film sound really supernatural and although there are some supernatural elements to it, the film could easily have been told without any of this thrown in and just have a typical revenge thriller.
The car races are very basic considering the age of the film, although at the time you can see it was trying to draw car fans in.
