Review of The World's Fastest Indian (2005) by Ray J — 11 Mar 2010
I never would have guessed, but this is a great, great movie. Just makes you happy.
I do feel somewhat hypocritical about giving it such a high rating though, because it is extremely sentimental, the acting by most of the side characters is marginal at best, and it's not exactly a "deep" movie by any stretch of the imagination. And, really, you know how it's basically going to end.
That being said, Anthony Hopkins IS the character. His acting is fantastic. And it's about motorcycles. And it's a "true" story. And I was sucked into the sentimentality just fine. So I liked it. Cast the first stone, friends.
