Review of The World's Fastest Indian (2005) by Jenny R — 21 Aug 2010
A really nice feel-good film. I've never seen any movie handle danger the way this one does: it props up dangerous situation after dangerous situation and resolves each obstacle with an unblinking optimism and lightness.
In a way it's a very naive film almost completely devoid of consequence, but it works--as a character piece for Hopkins, as an inspirational true-life story, and as a heartwarming depiction of the perseverance of the human spirit.
