Review of The World's Fastest Indian (2005) by Patrick C — 29 Jan 2008
The cover of the DVD scared me away because it proclaims it as a "Feel Good Movie", which is Hollywood buzz kill lingo for "Super Lame & Girly", but how wrong I was. I should have known, it's Anthony Hopkins after all! Well, I eventually buckled down and watched it.
It's actually a great movie. There were times in the movie where the whole kindness of strangers thing seems really a bit unbelievable, but if anyone's gonna get that kind of reception on the road, it's gonna be Anthony Hopkins.
He's just a likable guy, isn't he? Great actor. You could put him in as the head of the Lollipop Guild and he'd still steal the show and absolutely kill it. Anyways, cool story based on the life of a real guy who set some land-speed records on his Indian motorcycle.
