Review of The World's Fastest Indian (2005) by Konstantinos C — 26 Apr 2008
Great movie. Superb performances from all involved and thankfully, the Americanism of the movie is not so dominating as to overshadow the story. It remains firmly focussed on Hopkins journey to realise his dream, not being swamped by any ancillary plots where the US of A, perseveres, prevails and comes out on top.
In this, it remains at its heart the retelling of a tale of a nice guy from the bottom of the world (Invercargill) who sets out to "give it his best" and "give it a go".
