Review of The World's End (2013) by Louise D — 28 Jun 2014
The start and end are ropey narration, which no-one should be doing in 2013; and the character development runs on rails. The jokes are also much less effective than the previous 'Cornetto' films, though there is the odd laugh.
However it is worth watching for the fight sequences, which genuinely excite with their panache.
