Review of The World's End (2013) by Akumajack — 14 Sep 2017
Is a good film. As always Wright-Pegg-Frost are a must see trio. And in this film there is more screen time too for Martin Freeman that is good. But at the same time lacks some of the freshness of the first two films of the Cornetto Trilogy ("Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz" being the other two).
Is also the one with the more developed characters of the saga and the one with a more obvious meaning behind it. The worst part is probably the plot and the finale where all is revealed to the audience.
More than the others this is "just" a canvas that Wright filled with nice and funny scenes without a cohesive idea. Still a good and funny film for a couple of laugh.
