Review of The World's End (2013) by Armchair O — 08 Sep 2015
The final entry in Edgar Wright's Cornetto trilogy is an apocalyptic joyride about midlife crises and killer robots. Five friends reunite to complete a 12 pint drinking course, only to discover the town has been replaced with robot doubles full of blue goo.
Cue killer soundtrack, subtle and not so subtle jokes, and plenty of awesomely directed fight scenes. Its actually my favourite in the trilogy now, after a second viewing.
