Review of The World of Henry Orient (1964) by Jason H — 19 Nov 2008
Once I realized this was not going to be a Peter Sellers movie, I let go my preconceptions (misleading title) and enjoyed it. The first 45 minutes are a bit "precious" but the movie gets some "teeth" when Angela Lansbury appears.
Strong acting all around - what ever happened to the young stars? Tom Bosley is particularly impressive. What about Peter Sellers? It's one of his subtlest performances; love the way his "NY" accent emerges when he's stressed.
