Review of The World Is Not Enough (1999) by Michael M — 13 Oct 2009
The decline of the 007 film series under Pierce Brosnan's watch continued in this campy spy flick. Poor writing and reliance on old Bond cliches made for a barely bearable and unremarkable Bond experience.
Brosnan does the best he can with poor writing and worse directing, but this film has only Roger Moore (and the final Brosnan film, Die Another Day) keeping it from the rock bottom of the series.
