Review of The World Is Not Enough (1999) by Ian G — 12 Feb 2009
Feels pretty dull after a campier previous entry. Very dressed down in terms of set pieces with the exception of the opening boat chase on the river Thames. Marceau is average as one of the Bond girls although Denise Richards plays her up as a Fem Bot from the Austin Powers series.
If you can take anything away here it is the last time we see this version of the Q character as the actor goes off into the sunset and a long overdue retirement. Meh.
