When a high-tech terrorist named Renard (Robert Carlyle) launches a devious scheme to seize control of the global oil supply, Agent 007 (Pierce Brosnan) is the world's only hope. Bond's mission is fraught with danger and beauty - in the form of sultry heiress Electra King (Sophie Marceau) and stunning nuclear scientist Christmas Jones (Denise Richards) - as he faces off against a ruthless enemy who will stop at nothing to accomplish his devastating plan.
