Review of The World Is Not Enough (1999) by Craig C — 30 May 2014
Brosnan's third time as Bond tries to revive the Connery Era and largely succeeds for the first hour. Then Denise Richards shows up as a nuclear rocket scientist, in arguably the worst casting in franchise history.
On the other side, Elektra King is the best Bond girl since Living Daylights because she's exotic and has real depth. Brosnan finally acts like Bond and shows some gravitas. I liked this film more than I should have, and it stands with Moonraker as a guilty pleasure.
