Review of The World Is Not Enough (1999) by Derek F — 16 Nov 2015
It had some good ideas in wanting to create a thriller plot involving stockholm syndrome and an anarchist who couldn't feel pain. It couldn't quite execute that well. Denise Richards, innuendos, mediocre directing and a gratuituous amount of spinny blades make this film lose focus.
In spite of corny dialogue, Brosnan does a good job at portraying a darker Bond character. The good outweighs the bad, but this film feels like wasted potential.
