Review of The World Is Not Enough (1999) by Bill T — 20 Aug 2009
Good but incredibly sloppy Bond here. Some elements work, especially the truly amazing opening sequence.. Bond is good, Sophie Marceau is good too... But oh dear! Robert Carlyle is dreadful and wasted here! Denise Richards is just strange to look at in a Bond film period.
The story is damn confusing, Bond has far too many quips, the addition of John Cleese is very questionable, but I did like the extended use of Q. Alright, enough gurgling.
